                                                                       Weeber Truter

TRUTERSDAL

Weeber Truter has a keen eye for quality. Perhaps the fact that he obtained Springbok colours as a shot has something to do with his eye for quality mohair. He has a mixed farming operation and he certainly produces some of the finest mohair in the Oudtshoorn district. He is a 2nd generation goat farmer and together with his wife, Tina and three children they tend approximately 2 500 goats on almost 2 000 hectare. Average rainfall for the area is 15 inches per year and his main aim is to maintain and improve on the fineness, style and quality of his clip.
