RONDAWEL

Chris and Elna Marincowitz - previously from the farm Vischgat - now from the farm Rondawel in the Prince Albert district, run a successful mixed farming operation on 21 000 hectares of land which includes some 2 000 Angoras. With an average rainfall just over 150mm and great diversity in plants – more than 50 types – his Angoras produce a clip of good character and fineness. With two sons and a daughter the family’s Angora tradition started in 1958 when Chris’s father acquired goats for the first time. Chris believes Camdeboo offers a better marketing option and is very much quality mohair driven.
